Gambia food and drinks
Gambia food and drinks are available all day every day from our bar and restaurant. Snacks and delicious local and European meals with fresh local produce.
Our cuisine uses lots of fresh herbs which, combined with locally grown produce, are lovingly prepared by inspired chefs to make your holiday in The Gambia one to remember .
We are proud of our chefs and our Gambian menu at Footsteps and that our Gambia food and drinks are sourced locally from reputable suppliers. Our menus vary each day to use seasonal produce. Our fruit and vegetables are bought from neighbouring farmers and our bread is baked early morning by local bakers (the local Senfu is just like a warm French baguette). Indeed, much of our produce is grown by our gardener Papa at the lodge and delivered to our open-view kitchen just moments before your food is prepared.
